Derek Godfrey is the Chief Operating Officer and a member of the firm’s Strategy and Management Committees. He is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s support services – in particular, to ensure that we have systems and processes that fully support our lawyers in providing high quality cost effective legal services to all of our clients.

CAREER HISTORY

Derek has spent his entire career in professional services, including more than 15 years as a fee earner and several years as an independent consultant to law firms. He has held senior operational roles and/or consulted with a number of leading professional service firms including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Herbert Smith and Eversheds before joining Harbottle & Lewis in 2008.
