Harbottle & Lewis advise on 'Stuart: A Life Backwards'

Harbottle & Lewis congratulate client Neal Street Productions on their television film Stuart: A Life Backwards which was shown on BBC Two on Sunday 23 September.

Based on Alexander Master's award-winning book, the 90 minute film documents the life of Stuart Shorter - a homeless alcoholic with a violent past - who strikes up an unlikely friendship with writer and charity worker Masters. When Masters asks Stuart if he can write about his complicated life and traumatic childhood, Stuart advises that he should tell the story in reverse. Tom Hardy and Benedict Cumberbatch star in the drama.
