Harbottle & Lewis advise on new primetime TV dramas

Harbottle & Lewis have advised independent production company Greenlit Rights on the final series of wartime drama Foyle's War which begins on Sunday 6 January on ITV. The ever popular series, which stars Michael Kitchen as Chief Superintendent Christopher Foyle, has been running since 2002 in the UK. Greenlit are also behind Honest a new six-part comedy-drama which follows the trials and tribulations of a family of small time criminals who, at the request of matriarch Lindsay Carter (played by Amanda Redman), attempt to give up crime for a life on the straight and narrow. Honest will be shown from Wednesday 9 January on ITV.

The firm has also advised longstanding client Ecosse Films in relation to their new drama Mistresses for BBC1. The show, which stars Sarah Parish, follows the lives of four thirty-something friends. The first episode will be aired on Tuesday 8 January.
