Billy Elliot sweeps the board at the Tony Awards

The musical Billy Elliot won ten awards including Best Musical and Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical at the 2009 Tony Awards on 7 June. The show is based on the hit film of the same name and has been hugely successful with audiences worldwide since it opened in London in 2005. The Theatre Group at Harbottle & Lewis has advised in connection with productions of the show worldwide. Special congratulations also go to Harbottle & Lewis client Martin Koch, for winning the Tony Award for Best Orchestrations for Billy Elliot.
