Virgin appoints Harbottle & Lewis to panel

Harbottle & Lewis is proud to be re-appointed to the Virgin Group Legal Panel, continuing a relationship which spans four decades.

The Virgin Group Panel review involves the Virgin Group assessing which firms best suit its business as it continues to develop existing interests and pursues new opportunities around the world. The review, which began in September 2009, was carried out by Group Legal Director Ian Woods and Group Legal Manager Anita Waters. Eight firms were selected to form the panel as of 1 January 2010.

Harbottle & Lewis has most recently completed Virgin Holidays’ acquisition of Bales Worldwide, a luxury long haul travel specialist.

Colin Howes, Head of Corporate and Commercial, has worked with Virgin since 1981. He said “We are delighted to be re-appointed to Virgin Group’s legal panel.
