Start Up Fund for New Producers supported by Harbottle & Lewis
Harbottle & Lewis is pleased to support Stage One’s Start Up Fund for New Producers, which launches officially in April 2010. The charity has formed the fund to help kick-start the careers of outstanding new commercial theatre producers. Each year four individuals will be awarded a £25,000 sum for investment into a West End or commercial touring theatre production. They will also be given access to legal advice from Harbottle & Lewis’ specialist Theatre Group.
This support from Harbottle & Lewis is part of the firm’s ongoing efforts to support a wide range of activity in the theatre industry. The firm has recently advised on the West End transfer of Enron as well as the stage adaption of Breakfast at Tiffany’s and continues to advise on many established West End shows including We Will Rock You, Billy Elliot, Wicked, Dirty Dancing and The 39 Steps.
