New Partner Appointments and Promotions at Harbottle & Lewis
Media and entertainment law firm, Harbottle & Lewis, is delighted to announce the appointment of three new partners by promotion. Adam Mitton (Intellectual Property and Regulatory), Tony Littner (Corporate) and Louis Castellani (Litigation) join the partnership from 1 June 2010.
Additionally, Alan Moss (Film and Television), Chloe Wright (Music) and Lindsay Dawson (Theatre) have all been promoted to the position of Senior Associate.

Partners
Adam Mitton (Intellectual Property) advises on all aspects of intellectual property, information technology and data protection law and has particular expertise in the commercial and regulatory aspects of ecommerce, the Internet and technology. He has recently advised Joltid Limited in connection with its much publicised dispute with Skype and eBay; Forward Internet Group on the IP elements of its acquisition of uSwitch.com; and Phorm in connection with the data protection and privacy aspects of the use of its technology in the UK.
Tony Littner (Corporate and Growth Capital) provides strategic advice to growing entrepreneurial businesses, investors and venture capital funds as well as handling a broad range of company/commercial work with a particular focus on the media, entertainment and technology sectors. Recent examples include advising the contestants of all three series of the hit BBC show The Restaurant on their arrangements with celebrity chef Raymond Blanc; Forward Internet Group on its acquisition of uSwitch.com; and mydeco, the online intermediary for the home design market, on its £7.35m financing.
Louis Castellani (Litigation) undertakes a broad range corporate, property and commercial litigation with particular emphasis on complex cases in our core industries. He is also a member of the firm's Sports Group, focusing on contractual and regulatory disputes as well as disciplinary cases. Some of his case highlights include Lucasfilm v Ainsworth (now in the UK's Supreme Court), Association of British Concert Promoters v Performing Right Society and Experience Hendrix v Times Newspapers.
Senior Associates
Alan Moss (Film and Television) advises film and television clients on all aspects of development, financing, production and distribution. He has recently advised Scion Films on the financing of Love, Wedding, Marriage and Prescience on the financing of Burke and Hare directed by John Landis and starring Simon Pegg. Alan also advised Penguin subsidiary Frederick Warne on its arrangement with Chorion to create an animated TV series based on the original works of Beatrix Potter.
Chloe Wright (Music) advises both artists and companies on all aspects of the music industry, including digital, ancillary rights and music-related aspects of film, TV, theatre and advertising. She has recently advised Jade Ewen on exiting her solo recording agreement and joining the band the Sugababes and artist/producer James Ford (SMD and producer of Artic Monkeys/Florence & The Machine) on his recent Publishing Agreement with Warner Music.
Lindsay Dawson (Theatre) acts for a wide range of clients throughout the theatre industry. These include producers; theatre owners and operators; funded sector venues and touring companies. She has advised in connection with West End and overseas productions including We Will Rock You, Zorro and Breakfast at Tiffany's.
