Harbottle & Lewis Advise on 'Ghost the Musical'

Media and entertainment law firm Harbottle & Lewis has advised on another new West End production, Ghost the Musical, firmly cementing its reputation as the leading firm for the UK Theatre industry.

Ghost the Musical is the new adaptation of the Academy Award® winning film Ghost, opening at the Piccadilly Theatre on 19 July 2011. The production has received critical acclaim following its seven week preview run in Manchester earlier in the year, and remains faithful to the film with Bruce Joel Rubin adapting his original screenplay. The production features the original classic song Unchained Melody, as well as new music and lyrics by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard.

Ghost the Musical is just one of the major West End productions that Harbottle & Lewis has advised on in 2011. The firm has also advised on Million Dollar Quartet and Shrek The Musical which opened earlier this year, and currently represents a large number of West End shows including Billy Elliot and We Will Rock You. The firm has also recently advised the National Theatre on the Broadway transfer and worldwide exploitation of the award winning War Horse and is advising on the upcoming UK tour of West End hit show Dirty Dancing.
