People | Alex McGurk
Alex is a Solicitor in the firm's Litigation Practice and works closely with the Intellectual Property Practice.
Alex advises on a range of litigation matters, specialising in intellectual property disputes within the firm's core industries. She also advises high profile clients on issues of reputation management, including disputes arising out of misuse of private information, libel and data protection.
Alex qualified as a solicitor at Harbottle & Lewis LLP in 2007 having trained with the firm. During her training contract she spent six months working as in-house legal counsel at Virgin Atlantic as well as gaining a wide range of experience with the firm's Litigation, Commercial and Intellectual Property practices.
Alex graduated from University College London with a BA in History before converting to law and completing the LPC at BPP Law School in London. In 2008 Alex was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property with Distinction from Nottingham Law School.
