Cate is a Solicitor in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice and is a member of the eCommerce and Technology, Broadcasting and Advertising Groups.
Cate advises clients on intellectual property, e-commerce and data protection matters. She has particular interest and experience in the online rights and protection of children. She has written several articles on data protection and privacy which have been published in various journals and she also regularly contributes to the Digital Media Law Blog.
Cate has six years industry experience having worked for Accenture as a business consultant and Walt Disney as an in-house lawyer. She graduated from King's College London with an LLB (Hons) degree in Law and qualified as a solicitor in April 2008. She joined Harbottle & Lewis LLP from Addleshaw Goddard LLP in April 2008.
