Bob was the firm's Senior Partner and head of the Film and Television Group and is now working as a consultant to the firm.
He acts in the principal practice areas of film and television production and financing, advising on all aspects of development, finance, production and distribution of feature films and television programmes and exploitation of ancillary rights. His clients include producers, distributors, financiers, broadcasters, completion guarantors, exhibitors, agents, insurance companies and artists.
He has long been acknowledged as an expert in film financing and is recognised as an expert in this area in the Legalease publication Legal Experts and in the World's Leading Media and Entertainment Lawyers guide. Bob was recently named as being in the top 20 media and entertainment lawyers in the world in the Euromoney guide The Best of the Best 2000.
Bob joined Harbottle & Lewis and qualified in 1971. He was made a Partner in 1975. He is a member of the International Bar Association.
