Gerrard is Senior Partner and head of the firm's Litigation Practice. He is acknowledged as a leader in the field of litigation, privacy and defamation. He also acts for many household names in both the UK and US involved in film, television and sport. Additionally Gerrard works with the Charities Group and the Publishing Group.
Gerrard joined Harbottle & Lewis in 1981. He was made a Partner in 1984. He is a member of the British Association for Sport & Law and the International Bar Association. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Institute of Contemporary Arts.
