People | Louis Castellani
Louis is a Senior Associate in the Litigation Practice.
He advises on a broad range of contentious matters across the firm's core industries including Music, Sport, Film and TV, Charities and Publishing, specialising in contractual and Intellectual Property disputes in those industries.
Louis has considerable experience of acting on injunctions, large trials and mediations. He has significant experience of handling references to the Copyright Tribunal and of handling substantial insurance claims in the Commercial Court. He advises large and small charities on litigation issues such as seeking Beddoe orders and is involved in cross-border disputes with the US, having considerable experience of carrying out UK-based deposition work for US-based litigation. Louis is also frequently involved in litigation where there are allegations of breaches of restrictive covenants and breach of confidence, having acted for employers and employees.
Louis read law at King's College, London. After completing the LPC, he qualified as a solicitor in spring 2000 at City law firm Clyde & Co. joining Harbottle & Lewis later that year.
