Amal is a Solicitor in the Employment Practice. She has a wide and varied experience of employment law, an area which she has specialised in since qualifying as a solicitor in 2001.
Amal regularly deals with a broad spectrum of employment issues including both contentious and non-contentious matters. Amal provides advice on general HR matters including disciplinary and dismissal issues, discrimination and bullying, managing sickness absence, handling redundancies and complying with obligations related to transfer of outsourcing arrangements and businesses.
Amal also regularly handles disputes in the Employment Tribunal and she has particular experience of discrimination and "whistle-blowing" disputes.
Amal also regularly undertakes seminars and training workshops on employment topics to clients.
Amal graduated with an LLB from Liverpool University in 1998 and joined Harbottle & Lewis in August 2005. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
