Louis is a Partner in the Litigation Practice. He undertakes a broad range of corporate and commercial litigation with particular emphasis on complex cases. His experience includes acting on urgent injunctions, mediations, and heavy trials for cases in the High Court, the appellate courts and the Copyright Tribunal, as well as under various arbitration rules.

His areas of expertise include contractual claims, company disputes, infringements of intellectual property rights, negligence actions and commercial property litigation. He has also been involved in several cross-border cases in the US, the Cayman Islands and the Middle East.

Louis has experience in a wide variety of claims in the firm’s core media and entertainment industries. He is a member of the firm's Sport Group, acting for clubs and sports professionals in disciplinary and arbitration proceedings, as well as acting in contractual and regulatory disputes across all sectors of the sports industry.

Louis read law at King's College, London. He trained and qualified at City litigation firm Clyde & Co, joining Harbottle & Lewis in 2000. He is admitted as a Solicitor Advocate (Civil), speaks French fluently and is a member of the British Association for Sport & Law.
