People | Alan Patten

Alan is a Consultant in the Property Practice, specialising in commercial property development and investment work. He handles development for both commercial developers and occupiers, mainly from the world of entertainment and media. Developments he has recently acted on include the Imperial War Museum North in Manchester, an out of town retail park near Sevenoaks and a major new recording studio in West London.

Alan also handles the acquisition and disposal of investment properties for both property companies and high net work individuals, many of them well-known artistes and sportsmen. Alan advises on all aspects of property law.

Alan joined Harbottle & Lewis in 1966 where he qualified in 1969 and was made a Partner in 1971. He became a Consultant to the firm in 2006.
