George Babbington is a Consultant in the Music Group with over 25 years experience in the UK and US music industries. His past and present clients include several major artists as well as management companies and digital distribution companies. He has also represented a number of the major record companies as well as several large independent record companies.

George started work in the music business at Virgin Records in the 1980s and became Director of Legal and Business Affairs for all of its associated labels. In 1990 he moved into private practice, initially working in the London office of a large LA firm, gaining experience in both New York and Californian music law before starting his own firm in the early 1990s. He joined Harbottle & Lewis in 2010.
