Justin is a Solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial Practices and the Sports Group. He has particular experience of mergers and acquisitions, disposals (both public and private), fundraisings, administration sales and corporate restructurings. He also advises on joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and limited liability partnerships, and has advised clients in the media, entertainment, sports, music and theatre sectors.

Deals Justin has worked on include:

• Advising the creators of Morecambe the Play on the establishment of a limited liability partnership;
• Advising MAMA on its £18m+ joint venture with, and its subsequent takeover by HMV;
• Advising the PGA European Tour on its joint venture with the London Golf Club;
• Advising Chris Wright on the sale of his shareholding in London Wasps Rugby Club;
• Advising the shareholders of CitySync Limited on the sale of their entire shareholding to Image Sensing Systems Inc. on its proposed acquisition of the multi jurisdictional money transfer business of Coinstar Inc., a US company listed on NASDAQ; and
• Advising a consortium of charities on its proposed bid for Camelot, the National Lottery operator.

Justin has also been part of the team that has advised clients including the Virgin Group, Professional Sports Limited, Penguin, and Powerboat P1 Management Limited.

Justin trained at Allen & Overy LLP and qualified as a solicitor in March 2006. He joined Harbottle & Lewis in October 2008.
