National Minimum Wage goes up

The National Minimum Wage will increase with effect from 1 October 2007 as follows:

• From £5.35 to £5.52 per hour for workers aged 22 and over;
• From £4.45 to £4.60 for workers aged between 18-21; and
• From £3.30 to £3.40 for workers below 18 who have ceased to be of compulsory school age.
