Harbottle & Lewis will relocate to new offices at 7 Savoy Court on Monday 29 July 2019.
The firm will occupy 30,000 sq ft of comprehensively refurbished, grade A office space spread across the top four floors of the eight-storey property, which is located just off the historic Strand and adjacent to the world-famous Savoy Hotel.
The first three floors (5-7) will be fully flexible and open plan, configured to provide for the changing world of work and to enhance collaboration and innovation within and between the firm’s multi-disciplinary teams.
There will also be quiet spaces, private meeting rooms and break out spaces to provide staff with a range of workplace options. The fourth floor (8) will contain dedicated client meeting rooms and entertainment facilities, including a café providing daily free lunches to all its employees.
The new office has a distinct focus on wellbeing, with a dedicated town hall-style space designated for health and fitness activities, including the firm’s weekly yoga and fitness classes, and free massages. The new space will allow the firm to expand its offering in this area which also includes regular talks on associated topics and an annual Hiking Trip in the Lake District.
In total, the property will house Harbottle & Lewis’ 215 strong team, including 40 partners.
The building itself, which is Grade II listed and dates back to 1889, forms the eastern side of Savoy Court, sitting at the heart of one of London’s most historic and culturally dynamic districts.
Glen Atchison, managing partner, said: “We are excited to be moving to our new home at 7 Savoy Court. As our business continues to evolve, we believed it was time to upgrade our premises to afford our teams with the very best working environment, and our clients with the space and facilities that are commensurate with the exceptional levels of service and experience which they have come to associate with Harbottle & Lewis.
“The location of our new offices is fitting, being located at the heart of London and at a crossroads between the West End and the City, which complements our heritage and identity, and ideally positions us for continued growth and success.”
