Harbottle & Lewis has advised long-standing client, Victoria Beckham Limited, on a £30 million investment into its global luxury fashion brand from private equity firm NEO Investment Partners.
The company’s London-based luxury fashion business was founded by Victoria Beckham in 2008 and now has flagship stores in London and Hong Kong. It encompasses ready-to-wear collections, footwear, eyewear and high-profile collaborations with Estee Lauder, Reebok and Target.
The investment from NEO creates a collaborative partnership for the company to grow both its physical retail and e-commerce platforms, and to focus on building a modern, global luxury and lifestyle brand.
Tim Parker, Corporate partner at Harbottle & Lewis, said: “We are delighted to have advised Victoria Beckham Limited on this transformative investment at the start of a very positive and exciting new phase for the brand.
“It was great to work with the company and its stakeholders again; this was a complex transaction in a key sector for the Firm and required expertise from a number of our practice group specialists.”
The team was led by Tim Parker with support from, among others, Emily Miles and Katerina Capras (Corporate), and Charlie Thompson (Employment).
