Beata Sobkow is an associate in the Technology, Media & Entertainment group where she advises clients on a wide range of Data Protection issues.
She has a keen interest in video games; eSports; virtual, augmented, and mixed reality (VR, AR, and MR); the Internet of Things (IoT); and artificial intelligence (AI).
Beata is a member of The Law Society (England and Wales), Ukie, and the Society for Computers and Law.
Before joining Harbottle & Lewis, Beata trained and worked at the London, Paris and Tokyo offices of Allen & Overy LLP.
In 2017, she completed her LLM in Computer and Communications Law during which she focused her research on legal issues surrounding privacy and data protection, interactive entertainment, and intermediary liability.
