Jake Rudman specialises in media and information law, in particular areas relating to reputation protection such as defamation, privacy, breach of confidence and data protection.
Having qualified as a barrister at specialist media chambers 5RB and worked in the litigation department of the BBC, he has considerable expertise advising on media law and its ancillary areas both before and after publication.
Jake has worked for both individuals and corporate organisations in some of the most prominent recent media law litigation.
He has also developed considerable and varied advocacy experience, having acted in Crown Court, Magistrates’ Court and County Court in both civil and criminal proceedings while at Pump Court Chambers.
Jake is an NCTJ-accredited journalist having trained with the Press Association, and speaks conversational Spanish and basic French.
