Pro bono work is very important to Emma; last year she spearheaded the investHER movement, developing the strategy to successfully reverse legislation that would disproportionately impact female angel investors and decimate the UK tech sector. She is also Director of the Interparliamentary Forum on Emerging Technologies; a not-for-profit that has built a global network of parliamentarians sharing best practice on AI and other emerging technology regulation. She is also s a founding member of the global UNESCO Women4EthicalAI, is collaborating with the University of Oxford in its AI in Education Hub and is a UNESCO Global Expert without Borders in AI regulation.
