Andrew advises on a broad spectrum of post-death issues. In addition to providing ‘full service’ advice to executors of estates, he is also frequently instructed to give discrete advice in connection with multi-jurisdictional or unusual issues which arise on death. He also acts in the context of inheritance disputes including claims regarding the validity of a will and those brought pursuant to the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.
He has acted for many high profile estates, and has advised the executors of musicians, authors, politicians and renowned business men and women. He also advises employers, charities and corporate trustees in relation to post-death legal matters.
Andrew has nearly ten years’ experience dealing with probate matters. Prior to joining Harbottle & Lewis in 2020, he worked at Withers where he specialised in international estate administration and advised on the technical aspects of inheritance disputes.
He occasionally comments on inheritance law matters, and has contributed towards or written pieces for the Financial Times and The Telegraph.
