Chenelle works with a variety of clients across the advertising, fashion, sport, music, film and entertainment sectors and advises them on their commercial, digital advertising/adtech and data protection issues.
On the data protection side, Chenelle advises on general compliance, drafting internal and external data protection policies and procedures, as well as advising on marketing and cookie compliance.
Chenelle has a particular knowledge of advertising-related agreements including creative agency, brand sponsorships, influencers and digital advertising agreements. She acts for clients across the advertising industry including agencies of various sizes and has advised on a number of advertising campaigns for household brands as well as advertising production agreements.
Chenelle joined Harbottle & Lewis in 2022 where she undertook her training contract.
Prior to joining the firm, Chenelle worked in-house for two years at Universal Pictures and at an independent TV and film production company, where she developed her understanding of the entertainment industry. She also worked at a US law firm where she advised on high-value M&A technology, data and IP transactions.
