Harriet’s practice includes divorce, financial claims arising from relationship breakdown, nuptial agreements, Schedule 1 proceedings and private law children matters. She has developed particular expertise advising high net worth individuals on complex financial disputes, often involving significant assets across multiple jurisdictions. In children cases, she advises parents on a range of contentious disputes, including child arrangements, schooling decisions, and cases involving safeguarding concerns.
Harriet recognises that her clients are often navigating one of the most challenging periods of their lives. She combines genuine empathy and discretion with an analytical and strategic approach, ensuring clients feel supported whilst receiving clear, pragmatic advice. She is committed to resolving disputes efficiently, through non-court dispute resolution wherever possible or through the court process where required.
In 2022, she won the Citywealth Future Leaders ‘Career Achievement Award’ and was shortlisted for ‘Family Lawyer of the Year – Associate’. She trained at Payne Hicks Beach, where she qualified, before moving to Burgess Mee, a specialist boutique family law firm. Harriet joined Harbottle & Lewis in July 2026 and is a member of Resolution.
