Miriam has experience advising clients on a broad range of trust and succession disputes, frequently with a significant cross-border dimension.
Miriam has appeared in the English courts and has experience of proceedings in offshore jurisdictions, including Bermuda, the Bahamas and the Channel Islands. She has advised on a variety of disputes, including claims under the Inheritance Act, will validity challenges, and breach of trust and trustee removal proceedings. She has also advised on disputes with a matrimonial dimension, including cases where trust and succession issues arise in the context of relationship breakdown.
Prior to joining Harbottle & Lewis in June 2026, Miriam trained and practised at Stewarts. She is a member of ConTra.
