Qualified to practise in both South Africa and England & Wales, Richard acts for a wide range of clients including production companies (from independent UK producers to major US studios and SVOD platforms), rights-holders, and individual writers, directors and producers. His areas of specialism include rights and development, film and television production, and rights exploitation and distribution.
Prior to Harbottle & Lewis, Richard worked in-house at Fremantle, focusing on the development and acquisition of programmes, as well as the licensing and distribution of programmes and formats throughout EMEA, Latin America and Canada.
