Prized partnership: Indielab gold sponsors

In December 2017, we announced that we would be gold sponsors of the Indielab programme – an annual business growth initiative for independent television production companies, which aims to equip them with the knowledge, skills, networks and investment they need to scale their businesses and achieve their full potential.

The four month programme, which is backed by the Mayor of London, offers 15 small and start-up indies an opportunity to pitch for investment and receive specialist training from more than 50 industry leaders.

Throughout the programme, we shared in-depth industry knowledge as part of the high-level briefing sessions with a range of others with specialist expertise or knowledge of the industry.

Our role as both sponsors and contributors to the programme allowed us to provide indies with the skills and industry know-how they needed, helping them become resilient in this ever-changing market.

Our combination of expertise in the technology, media and entertainment sectors and experience of working with entrepreneurs and investors in start-up and growing companies on investment and sale transactions has equipped us to advise on both legal and strategic issues affecting growing companies in the sector.
