Lucy Rice-Mellor is an Associate in the Media and Information Group, specialising in defamation, privacy and reputation protection. Lucy advises both individual and corporate clients on matters relating to the protection of their reputation and private information. She has a wide range of experience in dispute resolution in the English High Court, Court of Appeal and international arbitration.
Lucy advises on a range of media and information issues, including defamation, privacy, breach of confidentiality and pre-publication matters. During her training, Lucy spent time in the firm’s Family and Commercial Litigation groups, gaining experience in ADR and general litigation relating to finance and children matters and general commercial litigation.
Lucy has particular experience working on media and information litigation, and also advising clients in relation to problem content online and on social media. She is a qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
