Nicholas Westley advises primarily in relation to complex financial disputes arising from divorce, drawing on his eight years’ experience as a barrister practising at one of the leading matrimonial finance chambers.
Nicholas deals with all areas of private family law, with particular emphasis on complex high-value matrimonial finance cases, frequently involving off-shore assets, inter-jurisdictional disputes and complicated asset-holding structures. He also regularly drafts pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
One of Nicholas’ contemporaries, Stewart Leech QC, said the following about him: “I have known Nick since he first came to the Bar in 2005. Over the years I have worked with him frequently both when he was at the Bar and since he has become a solicitor. He is an exceptionally gifted family lawyer and his experience on both sides of the legal profession gives him the cutting edge. He is easily one of the best, if not the best, of his generation.”
