Harbottle & Lewis has advised Studio Crook, the Brighton-based independent production company run by Matt Crook and Sian Johns, on an investment from Channel 4’s Indie Growth Fund.

Studio Crook was founded on 2021 by Matt Crook and covers a wide range of genres, including unscripted, entertainment, drama and comedy. It also took part in Indielab’s TV accelerator last year, of which Harbottle & Lewis is a key sponsor and partner.

Commenting on the deal, Ed Lane said “It was a real pleasure advising Matt and Sian on this investment, and wonderful to see such a milestone reached at such an early stage for Studio Crook.”
